This tour offers fantastic explorations of lovely old towns and gorgeous natural spots in Yunan, one of the most traditional and attractive provinces in China.

Day 1: Kunming (-D)
Arrival in Kunming, airport pick-up, hotel check-in, city tour with visits to the special Bamboo temple with many vivid clayed statues and the interesting bird and flower market.

Day 2: Kunming - Shilin – Dali old town (B-L-D)
Bus ride to Naigu stone forest, nice walk around the park to admire amazing collums of rocks of different sizes and shapes; have picnic lunch at the park.
Drive back to Kunming and take evening train to Dali after dinner
O/N on train

Day 3: Dali old town (B-L-D)
Early arrival in Dali new town, transfer to Dali old town, hotel check-in, rest till lunch, city walk in the afternoon, take chairlift to the Gongzhen Mountain.

Day 4: Dali old town – Lijiang Old town (B-L-D)
Bus ride to the delightful old town of Lijiang with a short stop at the interesting Xizhou village of Bai people. Arrival in Lijiang, hotel check-in, lunch
Afternoon nice walks around the old town of cobbled streets, criss-crossed canals, and from A to Z souvenir shops, enjoy lively dancing performance by Naxi ladies at the market square

Day 5: Lijiang – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Sangrila(B-L-D)
Bus ride to the gorgeous Tiger Leaping Gorge (16km long and 3,900m deep), one of the deepest gorges in the world, enjoy a rather tough but very impressive 3 - hour- hike
Afternoon bus transfer to Sangrila, an interesting town with some Tibetan features

Day 6: Sangrila (B-L-D)
Visit the interesting Ganden Sumtseling Gompa, a 300-year-old Tibetan Monastery complex with around 600 monks, beautiful Napa lake with a short horse ride, and pleasant walks around the tranquil Tiansheng park.
Afternoon: leisure walks in the old town of Sangrila
Dinner: Tibetan hotpot

Day 7: Sangrila – Kunming (B-L-D)
Morning flight to Kunming.

Then connecting flight to HCMC

End of service
